Congratulations, you've survived January, and what is on record as the most depressing day of the year – Blue Monday! Generally I feel there has been a very positive start to 2020 and as a result of being occupied with the year ahead, February has appeared in the blink of an eye. Pressing the rewind button for a moment, in 2019 we saw tremendous growth in usage on the Practice Labs platform. With thanks to our vendors, partners and customers, this is what we achieved:
Closing the 2019 chapter, let's talk about how Practice Labs will be supporting our customers moving forward. If you have read our previous newsletters or follow us on social media, you may have identified our primary goal, but for our new readers out there, this is what it looks like:
The Practice Labs mission is to improve the skills of one million users by 2023.
Today, we stand at a total of 266,015, so there are only 733,985 more users to reach out to!
Library Update
Product development is crucial to customer success which is why our CREW are consistently working hard with industry experts to create content that is aligned with certifications and meets customer needs. I trust that you will be pleased for the developments we have organized for you all this year. Keep your eyes peeled for further updates and new releases throughout the year, but take a look at what we have planned for quarter one below. Our full 2020 roadmap can be downloaded here.

Curious to see our full library? Use the following links to download and view our latest Practice Lab and Exam Prep portfolios, or drop an email to eps@practice-labs.com and one of the team will be happy to arrange complimentary evaluation access.
Events
If you're in the UK during February and planning to attend the Institute of Coding Conference at the IET London on 24-25 February, look out for our stand. The theme for this year's event is 'Thinking Differently' and we're looking forward to showcasing our Practice Labs Environment to demonstrate to delegates the power of live, hands-on, experiential learning.

Out and About
Are you better than you were yesterday?
Sitting firmly alongside our mission, our CREW values are steering us towards that end goal. Each day we strive ‘to be better than we were yesterday’. So Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is high on our agenda, and we actively encourage our CREW to spend at least one hour every week developing their skills so that they grow in their role and be the best they can be. Evidently, it’s time to get the fanfare out and applaud our CREW members on some recent CPD achievements.
Matt - certified in Software Development Fundamentals.
Louis - passed the following exams: MS-900 Microsoft 365. Fundamentals and AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals.
Ryan - certified in Windows Server Administrator Fundamentals.
Alex - passed his BCS Network Security exam.
Kate - passed her ACCA tax exam.

Our Utah office had the privilege of serving another great cause in January, helping to fight hunger in the local area. One in seven children in Utah are unsure where their next meal will come from, and that food insecurity has major implications on physical and mental health. Providing support to the community in need, our CREW volunteered to help towards packing one million meals for the Utah Bank, run by local charity Silicon Slopes Serves.

This is proof of how our CREW are our best asset. Fantastic work everyone!
Next month I look forward to sharing our platform development plans with you all. In the meantime, I hope you have a fantastic February. Enjoy – it'll be over in flash!
All the best,
Ricky Doyle, CREW Captain
